Welcome House proved to be a transformative endeavor, presenting both challenges and notable achievements. Despite a three-month delay due to adverse weather conditions, our team persevered. The pre-engineered building posed initial obstacles, hindering ductwork sleeve installation, yet we successfully executed a complex VRF and duct job, incorporating a VAV system on the first floor and VRF systems on the subsequent two floors. The project’s diversity of equipment brands, including DOAS, CRU, VRF, RTUs, and unit heaters, added complexity. Notably, installing a 30″ stainless steel double-wall grease duct in tight spaces showcased our team’s ingenuity and precision. With support from our trusted GC partner, Forge Construction, we overcame setbacks and adhered to the project schedule. Our team of four members completed the 28,000-square-foot facility, comprising three floors of program spaces. Welcome House now stands as a testament to our commitment to constructing vital community resources, exemplifying our dedication to making a positive impact.
