The SurgiCenter project, spanning 20,700 square feet, demonstrated our team’s expertise and adaptability in medical construction. As our second Medical Office Building (MOB) project, it marked a significant achievement. Unexpectedly, the project’s walls were constructed 30 days ahead of schedule, necessitating rapid ductwork preparations and early commencement of roofing work. SurgiCenter also marked our inaugural foray into Building Information Modeling (BIM), utilizing Questec for hydronics management and coordinating air handlers, chillers, and boilers meticulously. Despite weather-related delays, we successfully adhered to the project schedule through excellent collaboration among all trades. Foreman Marvin Howard’s leadership was instrumental in our success. Timely delivery of chiller and boiler parts from McQueeney and Trane, coupled with a dedicated team of four individuals, ensured project efficiency. SurgiCenter showcased our ability to excel in complex medical construction projects, highlighting our commitment to delivering quality results on time.
